Hovering over an attachment gives Gmail users the ability to obtain a file or save it to Google Drive. Gmail users can now view attachments and retailer files instantly on Google Drive without ever leaving their email, Google announced in a blog post on Tuesday. Instead of downloading attachments, Gmail users can save records data directly to the cloud by clicking on the power button that appears when hovering over attachment previews on the right side of an email.
Users can even transfer the file to a particular pressure folder without ever leaving their email. Of course, Gmail users can nonetheless obtain attachments to their computers by clicking the arrow button that appears when hovering over files.
Google stated the characteristic works for every type of information, together with images, movies, spreadsheets, and PDFs. The new attachment experience, which is to be had on the personal computer, will roll out to Gmail users over the next week. It only works inside Gmail, Google mentioned, so folks who use laptop e-mail apps or other clients to get to their Gmail won’t be able to keep attachments to force the same means.
