Videocon cellular services and products, a subsidiary of Videocon Industries, Thursday rebranded itself as Videocon Telecom. The company roped in Punjabi actor and singer Gippy Grewal as its model ambassador. Likewise, it unveiled a brand new brand that replaces textual content ‘cellular products and services in its outdated emblem with Telecom in the white and inexperienced field.
“Exchange is always good and fresh and brings in vibrancy in the environment. I’m happy to unveil our new model brand ‘Videocon Telecom’ which brings with it a reinforced id and a brand new vivid manner,” Videocon Telecom’s CEO and Director Arvind Bali mentioned in a statement.
On roping in Grewal as a brand ambassador, Bali mentioned: “Gippy is famous for his versatility and has a huge fan following not only from formative years but also from people from all walks of existence. This, in addition to our all-new and refreshing Videocon Telecom brand, reflects our core values.”
The corporate in November 2012 auctions received spectrum in six circles for Rs. 2,221. Forty-four crore and operates in 4 circles of Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.
